| After having built a mockup in the same scale I had the angles, dimensions and the knowledge to build the ULTIMATE Stardestroyer Mk.2 in 1/4222 scale. It took me months of research, a few weeks building the hull and superstructure and another few weeks superdetailing it. You'll notice that I tried to get the geeblies and kitbashed parts from the more than 7 times bigger studio model as exact as possible.

dorsal detail |
Pre-shaded and brushed in imperial gray colour. the detail turns to be looking correctly. |
You might remember this view of a Star Destroyer coming at you. |
bridge tower detail. gluing the tiny pieces of the deflector globes was quite exhausting. They are made of guitar string |
another quite familiar perspective showing the StarDestroyer. You can see trench detail and fuselage structure. |
front of the ISD. The holes on the upper surface elements are just 0,3mm. My ISD Mk.1 is in background |
ISD flying by. Like most parts the engine area was built from scratch |
Starboard side. notice the poorly detailed structure. That might explain why a ISD is only shown from the other side in the movies. |
Take a close look at the trench. detail comes quite close to the original thing - remember, my ISD is about 1/8 of the studio model |

almost done. ISDs MK1 and MK2 in same scale. This has never been seen in the movies! |
