scratchbuilt in 1:4222 scale
After having built a mockup in the same scale I had the angles, dimensions and the knowledge to build the ULTIMATE Stardestroyer Mk.2 in 1/4222 scale. It took me months of research, a few weeks building the hull and superstructure and another few weeks superdetailing it. You'll notice that I tried to get the geeblies and kitbashed parts from the more than 7 times bigger studio model as exact as possible.

dorsal detail
Pre-shaded and brushed in imperial gray colour. the detail turns to be looking correctly.
You might remember this view of a Star Destroyer coming at you.
bridge tower detail. gluing the tiny pieces of the deflector globes was quite exhausting. They are made of guitar string
another quite familiar perspective showing the StarDestroyer. You can see trench detail and fuselage structure.
front of the ISD. The holes on the upper surface elements are just 0,3mm. My ISD Mk.1 is in background
ISD flying by. Like most parts the engine area was built from scratch
Starboard side. notice the poorly detailed structure. That might explain why a ISD is only shown from the other side in the movies.
Take a close look at the trench. detail comes quite close to the original thing - remember, my ISD is about 1/8 of the studio model
another familiar view of this ship
almost done. ISDs MK1 and MK2 in same scale. This has never been seen in the movies!
